If you are a developer/ builder and have purchased land inside the Levy Area for development, you are responsible for paying the Levy until you have sold the land.

You do not need to obtain any consent or approval from Te Awa SPV before developing or subdividing your land.

If you subdivide your land, the Levy will be applied to the subdivided properties.

Te Awa Lakes JV will require you to disclose the Levy to end purchasers so they are fully aware of the ongoing levy obligations before they purchase a property from you.
